In 2024, KAIJU! Beer was crowned Champion Medium Australian Brewery at the Australian International Beer Awards, while Bellarine Distillery took out Best Australian Single Malt Whisky at the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards. These accolades brought our paths together - and inspired us to imagine what could happen when two of the country's best producers combined forces.

The result? A beautifully packaged, limited edition gift set: a celebration of grain, oak and fire.

An enormous American Imperial Stout that has been finished in the initial maturation French oak Pinot Noir barrels from Bellarine's Oak Series.

The nose is drawn in by captivating aromas of cacao nibs, vanilla and fruity coffee crema. The beer lands on the palate in an avalanche of supple richness but, in strict defiance of the vertiginous alcohol level, it is exceptionally well balanced. The deep-set sweet toasted oak and chocolatey flavours linger, demanding another sip or, perhaps, the flavours alluded to in the beer call for a wee dram to elevate the experience further...

A warm, inviting dram that unfurls with aromas of apple and plum crumble, laced with vanilla custard and the nostalgic sweetness of Butternut Snap biscuits and strawberries-and-cream. The palate is soft and layered, carrying golden syrup over shortbread, pannacotta draped in apricot, and a whisper of blackcurrant pastille. Hints of clove and cinnamon drift through the finish, which is long, creamy, and gently nutty.

50% ALC/VOL - 2.0 Standard Drinks
A bold and decadent spirit that announces itself with Black Forest cake and candied orange dipped in dark chocolate, tempered by jersey caramel and aged balsamic overtones. On the palate, richness deepens with florentine biscuit, browned butter, and a hit of dark caramel fudge, chased by glazed wagyu notes and dense dried fruits. The finish is velvety and unhurried, echoing with date and walnut cookies—a luxurious whisky best savoured slowly.
