Whisky Flight Nights

Join us on our monthly Whisky Flight Nights where owners Russ and Craig explore special drams from around the world. Delving into what makes them unique, answering burning questions, and sharing a story or two. Tickets include 4 drams and cheese plate nibbles. (Additional drinks & food available for purchase).

For travellers coming from Geelong, we have partnered with ‘Drive Me Bellarine’ to offer a subsidised private limousine bus service to and from central Geelong location for an additional flat fee.

 
 

Thursday 7th December - ‘The Whisky Set’

Our final night in this series will feature special guest Julian White owner of world famous Whisky & Alement bar in Melbourne.

The Inaugural Whisky Set has been hand selected by Whisky & Alement’s Brooke Hayman and Julian White, two of Australia’s most knowledgeable and well-respected whisky professionals. These four single casks are released quarterly and represent a range of flavour profiles based on what they know Australian drinkers will enjoy from their many years of experience serving local whisky lovers. This is the first time ‘The Whisky Set’ (available only by subscription) is being offered as a vertical tasting experience to the public.

  • 1 x 20ml Cask 1 - Benrinnes 13 year old, olorosso sherry hogs head 54.9%

  • 1 x 20ml Cask 2 - Dailuaine 13 year old, Sauternes barrique 52.9%

  • 1 x 20ml Cask 3 - Teaninich 10 year old, Madeira barrique 58.7%

  • 1 x 20ml Batch 4 (2 casks) - English Whisky Co 8year old, PX barrels 60.4%

    Thursday 7th December, 6.30pm-8.30pm.

    Ticket includes 4x20ml drams & cheese plate nibbles

    We welcome you to arrive from 5.30pm onwards, tasting will commence at 6.30pm. Additional drinks and pizzas available for purchase on the night. Limited to 30 participants.

$40 per person return (return transport only, does not include tasting ticket)

Our friends at the Black Sheep Geelong will be open from 4.30pm especially to welcome our travellers so do stop in and enjoy a pre/post travel beverage at Geelongs own Chamber of gin!
